God Is Near

I do believe,
I do believe,
I do believe,
God is near.

Whatever the time is,
Whatever the place is,
Whatever the conditions are,
God is near.

Many are the ways He chooses,
Different are the tools He uses,
Variable are the indices He gives,
God is near.

I do believe God is Near,
For How shall I believe He is not?
How can I ignore His presence?
How dare I deny His grace?
How would I escape His Love?!

I do believe God is near,
Because He said He is,
Because all through the way , for years & years,
He never stopped being Glorified,
He never stopped being Given
He never stopped talking to me.
Me, the troublemaker, the poor, the sinner...
He never stopped being there for me.
All through the way,
So many miracles have shown His Greatness,
Much more minute details have told about Him .

God is near,
Because He is obviously seen in my friends & family,
The way He is present in their lives,
The way They are present in my life,
The way they act, give, fight, love...
The way they teach me about His Love,
The way they give me Joy...

God is near,
Because of the strangers He sends everyday,
On TV, in the books, at school, in the streets...
People who just pass by me for few days,
few hours & sometimes few minutes,
to touch my heart,
enlighten my mind,
deliver a message of His,
& then, disappear forever!

God is near,
Because of all His creatures ,
Because of the Beauty of the sea,
The deep Silence of the desert,
The sky, the mountains,
The birds, the plants,
The secrets of life renewed everyday.

That's why I do Beleive God is near,
I do believe He is always Here,
For those who ask Him,
as well as those who do not;
For those who recognise Him,
as well as those who can not;
For those who wait for Him,
as well as those who do not care;
For those who Love Him,
as well as those who love what they think He is;
For those who found the way,
& especially for those who are still lost.
He who Has created us,
He who Gave us His Name, His Life : A Gift Of Love,
He will never ever Leave us.
He will be always Here for Us, All of Us.

I do Believe,
God is Near.
Not always seen,
but always present.
Not always revealed,
but always acting.
Not always relieving,
but always Kind.
Not always understood,
but always saving.
Not always replying our requests,
but always meeting our needs.
Not always approving our acts,
but always accepting us.
Not indifferent,
but forgiving.
Not powerless,
but respecting.
Not in need,
but in Love.

Lord, O Lord,
You are far beyond what i can understand,
far beyond what i can imagine,
far beyond what i can believe,
But You are always near,
& i do believe so.

Lord , O Lord
THANK YOU .

AS BREAD THAT IS BROKEN?

(Rania Samir just reminded me of that book that I once read and liked but almost forgot: "As bead that is broken", and what remained in me yet is the title)
Perseverant... Perseverant... Perseverant...
This word Oh God can't stop germing in me.. opening my heart.. opening my fountains.. opening my lips to sing Your praise!

Perseverant are you God
And Perseverant is Your love

Perseverant is Your love to human beings
That not only You once created them
But You don’t stop to create them
You don’t stop to create by them
You don’t stop to re-create them

Perseverant is Your love to human beings
That you chose to dwell in their hearts
And it pleased to you to live there
Although Heaven and Earth can’t contain your glory

Perseverant is Your daily love given to us
Slowly
Surely
Mysteriously
But continuously
Our daily bread You give us
And…
“As bread that is broken, You give yourself to us”
Yourself? Your Son? Your body? Your all? Your symbols? I don’t know

This bread doesn’t cease to be broken
It doesn’t stop to proliferate
As a nuclear reaction,
As life that is bursting in all creatures
And as we are becoming bread too
And as we are given to each other

God I have never seen You
I have never been sure about Your name
I have no evidence about your Son’s nature or reality
But I see the bread
I see it physically and mystically
On altars of stone
And altars of flesh
I eat it
And I become slowly…
Bread that is broken
As perseverant as you are
Let me be
So that your bread keeps being broken
And your love keeps being shared
With the gifts of bread and wine, body and blood, life and suffering,
